Stamped Cross Stitch Patterns
Butterflies, birds and fairies, babies and bald eagles--there's a great variety of patterns to choose from in stamped cross stitch kits from Kooler Design Studio. Stamped kits work up quickly and easily. In many cases, there is space left on the fabric which you can leave unembellished or fill with your own designs to create a unique piece. Linda Gillum's "Butterflies" is one such piece. Ten glorious butterflies dance on a sea-green background. Each one is different, and each one is spectacular. Feel free to fill in the background with foliage, light and shadow, or perhaps a ladybug. Whatever catches your imagination is yours for the stitching. "Lighthouse," on the other hand, fills the fabric with a scene of serenity and summer bliss. Gulls float against white clouds and sailboats skim by in a design so real you can almost feel the breeze. The picture is screen printed on fabric of 50 percent polyester and 50 percent cotton. How about a couple of charming pillows for the holidays? Our cheery snowman has a hat pulled down over his eyes and sports a button that says, "I (Heart) Snow." His pink cheeks and a few dancing snowflakes bring winter fun into your living room. "Jolly Saint Nick" also peers out from under his hat to say "Ho ho ho!" He's wearing his classic tasseled stocking cap, but he must be off duty: if you look carefully, you'll see he's wearing plaid!
