Counted Cross Stitch Designs
Cats and cross stitch seem to go together, don't they? We certainly have our share of cat lovers here at Kooler Design Studio. Linda Gillum, Nancy Rossi and Sandy Orton have designed some wonderful kits for you to make for yourself or give as gifts to your favorite cat person. Sandy's "Cats, Cats, Cats" sets the tone with loving portraits of feline friends combined with perceptive quotes on the nature of cats. "There are no ordinary cats," says Colette, and certainly these self-satisfied kitties would agree. Nancy Rossi displays her deep understanding of felinity in three lush and perceptive designs. The three "Cats in the Kitchen" are busy exploring the contents of a cheery kitchen shelf, while those in "Curiosity" browse the bookshelf. The mood is more relaxed in "Cats on Toile," which shows two gorgeous creatures enjoying a sun bath while lounging on blue and white toile pillows. And while the title of "View of the Garden" puts the emphasis on what's outside the window, the image itself knows that the cat on the sill is of primary importance. Linda Gillum gives us whimsical kittens in two designs. "Hang In There" is the classic kitten hanging from a branch. This orange tabby gazes appealingly out at us from a blue background, in counted cross stitch. For those who prefer stamped designs, Linda gives us "Love Me, Love My Cat," with a fuzzy kitten wearing a pink ribbon. Don't forget your favorite feline at Christmas! Linda's "Meowy Christmas Stocking" is adorable. Unless your cats are more forgiving than most, however, we can't recommend dressing them up in reindeer outfits! Kooler Design Studio, Inc. 3527 Mt.
