This week my daughter is learning to needlepoint. We have the perfect design for a beginner to stitch. It’s colorful, but not too many colors and the detail is minimal.
Yesterday she was stitching while waiting for an appointment with me. Many of the nurses and staff were curious and delighted to see a teenager doing hand work with more than her thumbs! Even she gets tired of texting every now and then.
Missy’s hoping to give it to her dad for his late summer birthday. It’s not too early to start a Christmas project for a special loved one. You can share the love of needlepoint with a young person and have a very special gift to give someone who loves the both of you.
